Outline of the community 

SPIRITUALITY: Franciscan

PRAYER: Daily Mass, Liturgy of the Hours in common, daily Eucharistic Adoration (eventual Perpetual Adoration with Laity sharing hours), yearly seven day retreat, weekly day of recollection

 RELIGIOUS CONSECRATION: consecrated religious life embracing the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity, and obedience
o   POVERTY: free renunciation of personal ownership, beg for needs of the community, accept stipends for work without  asking for a specific amount, austere living in religious house
o   CHASTITY: obligation of perfect continence for the sake of the kingdom of God, cultivate mature relationships within community and among God’s people, avoid emotionally dependent relationships
o   OBEDIENCE: reverence and respect for the Pope, the Ordinary and the legitimate religious superiors (elected for three year terms)

FRATERNAL LIFE:
community time takes place at meals, develop ability to anticipate the needs of others, develop ability to share honestly and charitably at meetings

PENANCE:
in individual rooms and common rooms “the minimum necessary not maximum allowed”, keep all parts of the house and apostolic centers clean, wear the Franciscan religious habit

FORMATION: Pre-postulancy (time for discernment), Postulancy (1 year: learn about Liturgy, catechism, community life, Spiritual Development), Novitiate (2 years: study vows, Franciscan History, Franciscan Spirituality, Lives of Franciscan Saints, Rule of life), Temporary Vows (3 years: integration of religious life and apostolate, study of theology)
